AngelVampire Posted Wednesday at 21:00 Share Posted Wednesday at 21:00 Greetings! I don't know if anyone is still alive on this forum, but I really hope so. I'm writing with a translator, but I hope I can convey the essence of the problems. Basically, playing RF at my own pace and with GM capabilities has been a childhood dream of mine. I played RF a long time ago, starting with the classic versions where the cap was 55, then I got to version 2.2.3.2... When I found FelixBeta's instructions, and even a video tutorial, I was inspired - here it was, a chance to fulfill my childhood dream! However, not everything goes smoothly in this world I won't bore you all with the details of my battle with a bunch of utilities and applications over the past 3-4 days (I've lost count of how many I've been doing this). I can say one thing - relying on Gemini for such things was a mistake: the AI simply led me in circles, forcing me to dig in places I didn't need to and configure things I didn't need. Unfortunately, I don't understand programming at ALL and this is my first time getting into all of this. Plus, I've wasted too much time to go back now. Actually, I managed to achieve some success: 1) I was able to launch the game and enter the world with a created character. 2) I was able to create a GM character (At least, the nickname glows pink, not blue). I'd say it's the AI's doing, but in reality, 90% of it is SQL commands from your forum. Currently, I have one critical issue and one minor one: 1) The main problem is that my GM commands aren't working. Perhaps I entered the wrong commands, but the AI offered me a bunch of commands for RF online from the internet, both via "//" and via "%." In the former case, the game searches for a "Player" for a private message, just like in regular chat. Using "%" gives me errors about executing the command. I found a thread on the forum with a similar problem, where the answer was: "Is your zone not in release mode, or GM autorithy disable? Hex your zone to enable GM autorithy." But I still haven't figured out HOW exactly to configure the Zone and activate the commands. We've already tried using and editing the ZoneServerUD_x64 data with the AI and HxD, but it's been to no avail. I'm exhausted and can't stand the AI's endless assurances that "It'll definitely work now!" Not to mention the fact that I don't even know what commands exist for this client version. This is the key issue that's been plaguing me for two days now. Please help me figure it out! If you could also provide the data with the item ID for the drop or show me where I can find it, I would also be incredibly grateful. A second, less important issue, which would essentially be resolved with GM commands, is that I couldn't set up the purchase of donated items through the shop. I was able to give myself a bunch of CashShop, but when I try to buy items, it returns the same error: "It said the item prices were different." I also found a similar thread on the forum, but it didn't provide any solutions. "What exactly needs to be done?" We used the EDF-DAT Converter with the AI and tried swapping files back and forth. Either the zone would crash, or an error would pop up when launching a world and selecting a character. This isn't as critical as the GM commands, but if you could tell me how to fix this, I'd also be very grateful. Sorry for the wall of text, thanks for reading. AngelVampire
Hi! I'm from Kazakhstan. While I was waiting for a response, fiddling with the tier settings and trying all sorts of things, I got a "light blue" nickname. Apparently, that's a GM level gradation. Somehow, I got the commands that allow me to change my character's level, make them immortal, etc. working. However, it's really funny, but the commands show me the dalant / gold (exactly those!) aren't recognized by the system at all. It returns a command error, not a logical one. Furthermore, even though I already found the item ID database, I still haven't figured out which command to use to assign them to myself, because the methods I found (like %*) simply don't work. And that's basically the last thing I need to be happy now Thanks for the answer, friend! UPD:ย As soon as I corrected the file you mentioned, all the commands worked. HOORAY! Thank you so much, you kind person, for taking the time to answer me. I can't express the gratitude I feel right now in words, just know that these are very strong emotions of gratitude! That's it, I'm back to my childhood, thanks again Link to comment https://rfdev.net/topic/1920-help-me-understand-gm-commands-in-2232/#findComment-2416 Share on other sites
