[Help Wanted] Developing a Remastered RF Online Server in C++

Hey everyone,

I’m starting a project to develop a remastered RF Online server, focusing on optimization, security, and modernization while preserving the original essence of version 2.2.3.2.

Project Goals:

  • Improve server stability and security, making it harder for hackers and exploiters.
  • Optimize performance, reducing CPU/RAM usage and improving FPS.
  • Enable future graphical enhancements (remastered textures, improved UI, etc.).
  • Develop a modular system for easier future updates and expansions.
  • If possible, rewrite or port parts of the server to C++ for better efficiency and compatibility with modern technologies.

What I’m Looking For:

  • Developers with experience working on RF Online private servers.
  • Programmers with C++ expertise who can provide guidance on porting or optimizing server code.
  • Recommendations for tools, frameworks, and libraries that could assist with remastering and optimization.
  • Any contributions from the community—whether technical insights, shared resources, or past experiences—are highly appreciated.
